OCC assists all undergraduate students who live off campus, which includes first semester students living at home, upperclassmen moving off campus, married students, students with dependents, and part-time students. Currently, over 70% of UA undergraduates live off campus!   Off Campus Connection is located on the 6th floor of the west wing of the Arkansas Union, room 632.  Call or email to make an appointment--we'd love to help you!

  • 16% of commuter students travel 20+ miles to campus.
  • 75% of commuter students work.
  • 62% work more than 15 hours per week, 38% work more than 20 hpw, 13% work more than 40 hpw. *Academic performance suffers when students work more than 12 hours per week-Kattie Wing, Director of Financial Aid.
  • Only 3% of commuter students carpool.
  • 73% of commuter students are on campus 5+ days per week.
  • 65% of commuter students schedule their classes between 7:30 am - 12:30 pm.
